After several unfortunate renovations to this Hampton weekend retreat, new ownership sought to restore the 1960's Peter Blake design back to its original splendor. Set on the bluff's edge, Blake created an "upside-down house", locating the living area on the top floor to take full advantage of the ocean views. The restoration will once again express the simplicity of the building structure and incorporate expansive fixed and sliding glass panels. Two small guest bedrooms replace the original carport and a portion of the existing deck will accommodate a small dining area and powder room. To take further advantage of the spectacular views, the original stairway will continue up to access a new roof deck.
