NYC Home Office

With the purchase of a neighboring apartment, a screenwriter procured the opportunity to incorporate a work space into her existing home. A semi-transparent glass partition between the office and home created a visual expansion for both spaces while maintaining the desired semi-private separation. The same glass was used in the office for sliding panels to screen the view of a narrow light well while allowing natural light to enter into the space. Built-in millwork along perimeter walls provided both practical storage and a visual complement to the modern furnishing floating within the room.
